Average Weather in Siem Reap, the wet season is oppressive and overcast, the dry season is muggy and partly cloudy, and it is hot year round. Over the course of the year, the warmest month is April in 32.0° Celsius; the coolest month is January in 22.0° Celsius.
So I recommend to go to Siem Reap from November till March are the most prefect comfort weather to avoid the heat.

4-days Itinerary of Explore the Mysteries

Day 1: ARRIVE SIEM REAP

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, I’ve arranged a private transfer to hotel with a guide. I was booked to stay in Phum Baitang Resort which is so nice like transported into a magical world. The property is large and sprawling, and designed in the style of a traditional Cambodian village, with plenty of space and a gorgeously tranquil atmosphere.

In the afternoon, I’ve explored Angkor Wat with a private guide.
Afterwards, witness the sunset while sailing along the ancient moat of Angkor Thom before being driven back to hotel.

Day 2: SIEM REAP

This day I back to explore more temples during the morning with a trip to Angkor Thom due this is too many and definitely not enough time to see it all on yesterday half day time. The last capital of the Khmer Empire, Bayon Temple, and Ta Prohm, a temple overgrown with tangled jungle that was made famous by the Tomb Raider films.

Day 3: SIEM REAP

In the morning time, I’ve explored the Cambodian countryside and the quiet temple, Beng Mealea. Undiscovered for centuries, Beng Mealea remains unrestored and is one of the few temples I can climb through.
I had lunch at a local house before setting off on a boat trip on Tonlé Sap Lake, the largest lake in south-east Asia.
Visit the village of Kampong Kleang and join a boat ride through the village, and among the mangrove forests and waterways.

Day 4: SIEM REAP – HOME

Packed up luggage, and enjoy the breakfast with breezing wind in hotel restaurant outdoor area.
Spend the afternoon exploring Siem Reap’s colourful markets.
On the way I’ve stopped by Artisans d’Angkor – a social business enterprise to discover how wood and stone carvings, lacquering, gilding, and silk paintings are created.
Finally I’ve transferred to the airport and fly back to home – Hong Kong.
